Update (January 25, 2021): Alberta's SME Relaunch Grant Eligibility Change: New businesses that began operating between March 1 and October 31, 2020 and meet the updated 30% threshold can apply for the grant starting February 4, 2021.

Here are the changes you need to know:

  • Eligible businesses that have been affected by public health orders in effect from November 6, 2020 and later will be able to qualify for a second payment through the program (applications will open soon).
  • Eligible job creators will be able to apply for 15% of their pre-COVID monthly revenue up to a maximum of $5,000 in funding for their first payment and a maximum of $15,000 for their second payment.

More details will be announced soon.
