Michael Lepitre, CEO
Michael is the CEO of KD Professional Services Corp., leading its financial, tax, and accounting services. With close to 30 years of experience and extensive education in business, accounting, and tax law, he combines strategic alliances and practical expertise.
A passionate educator and speaker in Calgary, Michael has spent over 20 years empowering individuals and businesses with financial insights. Dedicated to transforming financial understanding, he fosters relationships to promote wisdom and
wealth for future generations.
Kevin Penner, Senior Accounting
& Tax Manager
Kevin’s expertise in Taxation & Planning spans 15 years with the CRA. After studying Accounting & Business Management in university, Kevin began his professional career and noticed a stigma attached to accountants. While many people think that accountants are uptight and speak “accountese,” Kevin thinks that accountants should relax, not take themselves too seriously and speak English when talking about accounting and taxes to clients. His outlook matches the customer and family-oriented atmosphere at KD perfectly.
Kevin is passionate about using his expansive knowledge of the CRA to help people fight for fair and equitable tax treatment. He enjoys educating clients about their tax rights and being the accountant that they can count on to have their best interests in mind.
Stacey Lepitre, Controller & Process Manager
Stacey Lepitre is the Controller & Process Manager at KD Professional Services Corp., where she supports consistent, high-quality client service by designing the systems and financial oversight that allow the firm to operate with clarity, stability, and confidence.
With over 20 years of experience in the accounting industry, Stacey has provided steady leadership over the operational and administrative foundations of KD for nearly two decades. She focuses on firm-wide operations, workflow optimization, capacity planning, and the development of clear manuals and SOPs that create consistency across the firm. Known for her values-based leadership and practical approach, Stacey simplifies complex processes and builds team buy-in, helping ensure a reliable, well-supported client experience and long-term sustainable growth.
Cathy Young, Office Manager
Cathy Young is the Office Manager and oversees all the operations and administrative functions at the KD Professional Office. She has been with KD Professional since 2018 and leading and managing the administrative team since 2023.
