I have written about filing taxes on time before, but feel that this is a good time to remind all of you that just because funds are tight (Alberta is in a recession) DO NOT put off filing your taxes, or dealing with tax related matters (CRA letters). I will say that again just in case you zoned out. DO NOT PUT OFF DEALING WITH YOUR TAXES!!!!!!! Sorry for yelling, but at least twice a month I get someone in my office who did not respond to a CRA letter or who did not file their taxes for a few years....

April 5 - GST/HST credit payments must be made by this date.
April 20 – Universal Child Care Benefit, Canada Child Tax Benefit and integrated payments must be made by this date.
